Wedding Apps!
Wedding Apps!

As wedding planners, we know how stressful the planning process can be for the bride when there are so many small details involved. With the growing reliance on technology, you’d be surprised about how useful our smartphones can be when planning a wedding. We’ve carefully chosen a few apps that will ease the minds of both the bride and wedding planner during the wedding planning journey!

1. Appy Couple:

For a one-time setup fee of $35, you’ll gain access to over 500 wedding website templates as well as the ability to create your own custom site and app! So many of our brides use this program and it’s clear why. Not only are the designs classy and trendy, but they also make it easy to convey all of your wedding day details to your friends and family. From travel and lodging information to the venue and wedding day itinerary, it’s the one stop shop for your guests to stay in the loop. You can also encourage your guests to download the app for easier access to all of the information.

2. My Registry:

This free app will allow you to manage your gift registry through one app. The app will find the lowest prices on items you want, making it easy for your guests to give you the perfect gift without breaking the wallet. Once an item is purchased, your list will be automatically updated to avoid getting multiples of the same gifts. You can also add items to your wish list by simply scanning a barcode with your phone. There are similar competitors out there such as Zola, but unlike them, My Registry lets you combine registries from many different stores such as Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and Amazon creating one giant wish list.

3. Top Table Planner:

This program, starting at just $20, will allow you to make the tedious task of creating guest lists and table plans much simpler. Not only does it allow you to design your table layout and room diagram, but you can also add your guest list and assign guests to each seat. Print out your final table layout and you are set! Top Table Planner even let’s you print guest name cards, if you choose not to outsource them. This easy-to- use program is worth the fee, especially when you find your guest list changing constantly and written seating charts being scribbled all over.

4. Wedding Party:

I’m sure everyone has been to a wedding where post-wedding time, guests are posting photos through scattered platforms whether it’s Facebook or Instagram. Have your guests download the “Wedding Party” app for a quick and easy way to upload all of their photos. The app even provides fun features such as a mobile photo booth where they can create funny photo strips and videos. Not only will the bride and groom get to see photos from all angles of their wedding, but all of the photos will also be in one central location for easy access to everyone.

5. Postable:

This free program is a must for every bride and wedding planner! Without Postable, gathering addresses from each guest becomes a tedious and unorganized task. Postable makes this an easy task by giving you a link to send out to all of your friends and family via email. Your guests are able to fill out the form (which is super quick!) and your address book is magically filled with everything you need. Postable also allows you to export the addresses into Excel, making it simple to send the list to whoever is designing your save-the-dates, invitations, and thank you cards.
